Sliding door window hinge
Has anyone had a problem with the sliding door window hinge breaking loose on the ends? I have had the window out and tried gluing the metal strip where it was originally spot welded. JB Weld worked for a couple of weeks but then it broke loose again. GM says that I need to buy the whole window assembly. I can get the window through an auto-glass company for $325.00, but Maybe someone knows how to fix the one I have. I was told by the auto glass company that the glass can't be drilled because it will shatter. Is this true?
