listen to this story..

Feeling kind of down right now. My cars brakes were shot pretty bad, they would slam on and almost get me in accidents before I got them repaired. I dont have much $ because im a full time student, in between jobs. Any way I put an ad out on craigs list trying to find some one I could pay to help me change them for cheap because im so broke. This young mechanic near my house emailed me and told me he would check it out for me. He completely fixed it, I had to get my rear drums spinned, along with a drum kit and adjustment. He called me to tell me it was done and wouldnt accept any $ from me because he said I needed it more then him. I didn't understand that, why some one would be so willing to help a stranger to that extent.

Any way with that being said I called him after to do some more work on my girl friends car and dropped it off, a week passed with out hearing from him, and no one at his shop. I found out after he was in a really bad accident and broke his neck and now is completely paralized for life from the neck down. He just started this shop up this year I guess as well, probably just trying to build a good reputation. I just got back from picking up my girl friends car today his parents were their giving people their cars back, they said they have to sell the shop, and asked if I knew any one would might be interested.
But yeahl thats the end of that story.

Very messed up though, I don't know why bad things happen to good people. That was probably the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for me, and then this, oh well.

Sorry to hear what happened to your friend. He sounds like a really nice guy. We need more people like him in this world.

Re: listen to this story..

It seems that bad things happen to those who are good in life and help people out like in your situation. And those who go through life cheating and do no good get away with it. I wish it wasn't like that. It's so sad.

There such great people, Heaven needs them up there to take car of the place while hes away. Thats my conclusion. Nothing else makes sense, so why not make up what you want? Theres people out there that shoot cops, steal from the working society, don't pay taxes, that I garuntee will live until there 90 or older.

It's always sad when you hear bad things happen to good people. Hopefully something positive will come from this. It may not be seen yet, but God will make it right for him somehow.

One of those things that just makes you stop thinking, and just appreciate how lucky we are. That's horrible.
