And one more thing...
Hi Folks,
I'm replacing the exhaust on my 66 Thunderbird, 390 cu 4bb, dual exhaust. Would it make a drastic and/or negative effect to install the new exhaust without the resinators. They usually rust out in a year in the New York climate. Thanks, Tom LI NY |

the exhaust will probably have a little more tone but no effect on performance

Exhaust is fine without resonator
Thanks for the response. I finally took the car to MIDAS muffler. They installed the whole system with pipes instead of resonators. It sounds pretty good. 700 bucks later though... phew!
