Flo Pro Exhaust??

well, im looking for some dual exhaust and went to the shop today and was quoted $225 for a 2-1/4(maybe 2-1/2) stainless steel. . . i have NO idea about these. . . the owner of the shop is a very reputable mechanic and knows what hes talking about and says these are the ones to get. . . he asked how loud i wanted it, and i said not too loud. . . so he shows me 'em. sooo, does this sound like a good deal? have u heard anything about flo pro (i havent)? and ya. . . 1982 2.8l v6

thanks,
Mike

Re: Flo Pro Exhaust??

They are good and very thick/heavy. But if you look at their size (large) and the ones from flowmaster (small) you will understand. The are not loud. They produce some nice deep sound and by the amount of flow they are really good. You decide.

Eh.. flowmaster aint recommended for a V6, also I wouldnt get true dual exhaust for a 3rd Gen Camaro since they have to actually sit UNDER the body not any spefic place for them, making it HELL of ALOT harder to go over bumps, and it will be hell for you if you lower your Camaro or if it IS lowered.

Re: Flo Pro Exhaust??

I dont think he meant true dual. people usually say "dual" on 3rd and 4th gens referring to a sual-out muffler

Re: Flo Pro Exhaust??

Don't get flowmaster, it flows liek crap and sounds liek crap. Bang for your buck is more liek magnaflow or TSP (texas speed and performance) rumbler
