Reputable Mechanic

Does anyone know of a reference by city regions etc for reputable mechanics capable of working on later model blazers? I have seen them for other vehicle manufacturers..any help would be great. We are in search of one in the greater lexiington kentucky area.

Word of mouth.
Family friends coworkers neighbors business people and delivery people.
Mailmen and parcel delivery people get around and notice a lot of stuff.
Even a good parts house knows what shops are good and not good.
Chamber of commerce and better business bureau and city hall.
If you find a good referral to a repair shop go look them over and talk to them.
Look for a clean looking busy place with nice people running it.
Ask a few questions and ask about their qualifications and training.
Not all places have trained tech/mechanics.
If they do not find a place that does.
Even all dealers do not have all trained techs/mechanics.

All of those are good ways to locate a good mechanic..
I can tell you that there are 3 World Class GM Technicians in the state of Tenn.
You can look in the phone book for your local GM dealer and ask if they have a GM World Class, Certified Master Technician or a Technician that is 100% training in all fields.
If so, That is the guy or gal you want diagnosing and repairing your vehicle
