HHD towing capacity

Hi

I'm think of upgrading to the new HHD, with the larger engine.. about three times a year I tow my G prod spitfire around new england.. about 200 miel trips each way
will the HHD tow all right.. i'm probably pulling 2600pounds, with about 300lbs of spares
I realize that this isn't going to climb hills like a dually, but is it capable of pulling sufficeintly (and I am not embarasses to slow down to 50mph on a long hill

Its just hat I'm sick of driving a big (thirsty) vehicle all year, for the little towinig that I do...???

thanks for your input

Re: HHD towing capacity

Do you mean HHR? It's basically a re-skinned Cobalt and has a towing capacity of about 1000 lbs.
