Intermittent start failure on '93 Taurus

My neighbor has this car that will fine(3.8L) and now and then refuse to start. I couln't hear the fuel pump hum and while he has this problem there is no fuel pressure on the fuel injector line. I wiggled the connector on the inertia switch and it seemed to start. About a month later it refused to start again, and he wiggled and still no start. He replaced the switch(inertia) but no go. I told him to try a fuel pump relay which he was sold but for the life of me I couldn't fine it anywhere. Does this car run this circuit with a relay? He was sold one and the computer at the auto parts says there is one but I looked all over under the hood with no luck.

Has anybody expereience this before on this car? Is there a relay(fuel) and where's it located? Or does this sound like a fuel pump going bad?

The fuel pump relay is integrated into the Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) which is a black metal box mounted under the plastic cowl with the vacuum diagram above the radiator. The CCRM has a multi-pin connector attached to it. There is also a smaller black box in the area which is an airbag sensor. Don't mess with that one. Check the inertia switch connection if wiggling that allowed the car to start. You can install a temporary jumper across the connector to see if that is the problem. The inertia switch is a safety item though, so don't bypass it as a "permanent" fix.
