O2 sensor

i have a 97 gase, and i took it to auto zone for diagnostics and was told that there was a heater circuit malfunction and the guy said that was the oxygen sensor....does that sound right? anybody?!

Check the o2 fuses first, check for 12v at the harness connector at the sensor, also check the ground for that heated circuit at the sensor, if both good the o2 is bad, you should try and get a wiring diagram for those circuits.

Would it be the same for a 99 GT with a po135 code? Same definition but it's sensor 1 instead of sensor 2. Where is the O2 sensor locted in the exhaust? Drive side by the front tire?
