I think i messed up my motor!!!!! HELP!!!

Well went to the track last night, did not go well. After about an hour i decided to run my car, the line was so long when the line would move i would start my car move 10 feet then shut off, then 5 minutes go by and do the same thing. On the 3rd time starting my car it did not start, it just turned over and back firing, smelled like alot of raw fuel comming out the exhaust. It would spit and sputter a little for like 3 seconds then stop. Crank over again and just pop and go at it. So guess WHAT!!!!
My brother and I where stranded in canada for the night!!!!! Could not get anyone to flatbed it back across the boarded. So we slept in my car!!! cold as hell, i was not leaving it in canada,NO WAY!!. Anyways the motor did not sound like anything broke or bound up, it just pops like hell and not run. No valve banging off pistons, it sounds normal turning over. I checked the timing belt out at 5am in canada because we could not sleep, and the belt looks fine, would the belt jump a tooth and look fine? Can the timing jump 1 tooth and not bend valves? I changed the plugs that morning up there and still did the same thing. Just by shutting my car off and on did this shit what happen? So 11 am comes along and my ride from the states finally arrives.

there will be no way to know if the timing jumped a notch by looking at it. you'll have to pull off the covers and make sure the marks are all lined up. you could have very well jumped the belt with all the starting and shutting off you did. belts 99% of the time jump when starting a car so that could have very well happened.

If it jumped a tooth are my valves bent? I never heard any noise. Just spit and pop

they may or may not be. i wouldn't turn it over any more at all until you know exactly what the problem is. if the timing is off, each time you turn it over you run the chance of bending vavles and fuck things up worse.

your timing would have to be off a couple of teeth before it would do any damage. For your car not to run at all, your timing would have to be way off

not necessarily, 1 tooth and it will sputter and hardly run, 2 teeth and that can do some damage, i still wouldn't even try start it until you find out what's wrong.

A quick check is to take your oil cap off and look and see if you have any rockers that fell off. It's obviously bad news if they are.

Do you know when the t-belt was last changed? Was the tensioner and pulleys replaced too?

don't just take off the oil cap and if you can't see any off, think that everything is all good. i would still check the timing belt, but that's just me.

Do a compression check. If you have bent valves you will have 0 compresion. If its good, then you might have a CEL code stored in your ecu.

check your MPI and FP fuse. Your pop could have been from to much fuel being shoved in a cylinder from an open Injector.

I would start with the compression, fuses, check all your sensors, plugs, wires, and then move on to your fuel system. Sorry to hear about that. Trucks cost $$

You can also turn the engine over by hand if you think you might have a valve/piston conflict but if they were damaged you would know for sure because pistons hitting valves makes a bit of noise. Out of curiosity, why do you think it's the timing belt? It could be something dumb like plugs or to much fuel. Hope it's not terminal. And don't go to Canada anymore. Canada sucks.
