i have a honda civic 00'

i seen your reply on the neons i wonder if u can help me
i bounght 4 neon light , 12v qudra socket for the cig lighgter, and switch with a power, load, and ground connector. what wire type do i need?

i have an idea of how to look it up but i hear everyone saying different things. so if i cut the wires behind the cig light and the wires on the quadrasocket connect them. How do i hook them up to the stwitch? how do i know where to connect the wire on the power, load, and ground connector of the stitch. do i even connect it to a switch? what about the fuse?

can someone give me a step by step plz
