cold air intake
so, i dont really know much about cars...wish i did but im a computer guy.
im thinking about getting a cold air intake to increase my hp and i believe it increases gas mileage. i thought i'd get a few opinions (yes, no, other) and recomendations (brand or anything else) on this. thanks. '96 lesabre custom. v6 3.8L 205 hp |

Is it really noticable? I really don't want my LeSabre sounding like a dragster. Thanks. |

there is a pronounced sucking sound. In all honesty, I would just go to lowes and making one out of black PVC, the chrome really looks gauddy in the engine compartment. The sound is louder than the engine just by a little, only at idle.
