Vacuum tree 4.0 V-6

I have a cracked small hard plastic vacuum hose, approx 1/16” dia. on the vacuum tree. What is its purpose? This line is cracked near the a/c unit. Can you buy replacement hose?

Thanks in advance……

Sounds like your HVAC vacuum supply. Without it you'll have no air discharge mode control for the climate control systems. Try bridgeing the gap with a piece of rubber vaccuum hose if posible.
