What do you all suggest...

Wattup everybody I got my wheel setup done and have started on my sound system...

but before I go any further I have to get a car alarm
Here are the ones I'm pretty much considering to buy...

Crimestopper CS2006 or the UltraStart 4500
are any of you familiar with these? what can you tell me about them or any car alarms in general? What do you all have for protection?

How difficult is it to install it yourself?

thanks for all
let me know peace

ps. 2000 civic ex sedan is what i rock....

I wouldn't recommend installing them yourself. A lot of alarms must be professinally installed or they will void the warranty. You might want to check out the documentation on the alarm you get.

From personal experience, I have a $200 Avital alarm from Bestbuy and It works great. Hardly any false alarms. It doesn't have remote start, but I have a 5-speed and its a hassle to go through the routine to turn off the car.
