Integra engines GS RS LS GS-R TYPE-R

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for an Acura Integra 1994-2001 to buy in the next month.
I was checking specs around the forum about the engines in this car and have been getting different answers regarding what engine goes in what integra model ( RS LS GS GSR.... ) and the overall specs of the engines.
I would also like to hear some feedback from integra owners.

Oh yeah, and i would like to know what equipment goes with what integra : sunroof, a/c, electric windows, etc. Which integra is the most equipped and which one is the stockest integra?

thanks in advance.

Richard

Re: Integra engines GS RS LS GS-R TYPE-R

With the engines; the LS,RS, and GS all have the same ones. The GS-R has the second most powerful, and obviously the Type R has the most powerful one. I recommend checking out a site like www.edmunds.com for all the specs and standard/optional features of each car, it will also give you a estimate on the price differences between each model.

Re: Integra engines GS RS LS GS-R TYPE-R

It all depends what your looking for...if you want power and if you have a budget try to get a GS-R...GS(i think) has the mosy luxury features out of GS,LS,RS...if you really want theres always a Type R...

let me guess... you forgot to put an end date on your poll? because the last reply was over a week ago and it is still floating in our top 5 threads.... next time set the poll to close after a week. that way people won't keep voting and bringing it back up to the surface.

Also why the hell are people voting for the LS above the GS? to save 10 pounds? GS is a better car than an LS people!!! LS just has buzz about it due to the name.

Re: Integra engines GS RS LS GS-R TYPE-R

RS, LS, GS, And special edition all have the same hp, which is somthing like 140 i belive

The RS has no sunroof, the LS has a sunroof, and the GS and SE have other stuff i guess, not sure, but they are nicer.

The GS-R has 170 hp, and has the same luxury options available as the GS and such (leather seats, sunroof etc.)

THe type r is pretty much like a race car. It has 195 hp i belive, no sun roof, no ac, lighter panneling and such (it weights 95 less pounds then the other integras)

So hopefully this helps. I recomend the GSR. You can have a lot of fun in that car stock, or you can mod it and make it even more fun. Oh and the handeling in all the integras is amazing.

Re: Integra engines GS RS LS GS-R TYPE-R

If you have the money go ahead and find a Type-R if not I would go with the GSR which is the second best Teggy and has some features that the Type-R doesnt.
