Kompressor?
Why are the C230 Sport Coupe, C32 AMG, SLK230 Kompressor and the SLK32 AMG all have the Kompressor?
What exactly is the Kompressor engine and what is the difference between the other engines? Why is it called the Kompressor?

Please I mean no disrespect with my following comment but. . . .
If I was over 50 years old and wanted to buy a Mercedes, I would not buy one with ‘Kompressor’ on the back! It looks embarrassing! It would have to go straight away! Sounds like an air generator (compressor) only spelt incorrectly! Sorry if this offends but come on? “My new geriatric mobile is powered by and air generator?” If your over the hill and its time to buy a Mercedes, surely the geriatric mind would still remember that it would sound very silly?
