95 trans sport heater core

Hi, I think the heater core is shot on my 95 trans sport with the 3.1. How hard is it to do? Im getting no heat, and the tell tale smell of anti freeze, along with a slight fogging of the windows. Thanks.

Re: 95 trans sport heater core

Symptoms you describe are characteristics of heater core failure, though this did not impair heat delivery in similar occurences I experienced.

is not what I'd wish for......I searched for specific "heater core replacement" but they make it look like all of this above need be done in order to reach it. Maybe those who did it could come with a better idea...

Re: 95 trans sport heater core

I am thinking I might actualy have a good reason for being cursed with a 3.1. The hose clams I read that everyone cant reach, are in plain sight against the firewall, with tons of clearance. I knew that damned 3.1 had to be good for something!
