Nissan Skyline GTR V-spec progress thread

Hi

This is the first time I'm posting one of my plastic model projects on AF.

First of all please note that the old digicam I'm using is only 1 mp so the quality is bad but I'm going to buy a new digicam in the future so until then try to give comments based on what you can see from the picture.

When I first started this project I painted it with Duplicolor blue (I don't remember the name), although the paintjob turned out shiny polishing the paint was not possible since it's a resin paint (I found it out after I painted with it since I assumed duplicolor is lacquer).

So I primed it with Tamiya white primer:

Painted with Mica silver (TS-76) and clear coated with TS-13:

I'm going to finish painting the interior soon and post more photos.

Comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the great replys people, it keeps the motivation level up.

I didn't expect to get such nice replys since this is only my second plastic model.

I haven't been able to finish painting the interior since I gave the paint I am suppose to use to a friend, so until I get it back I will work on the bottom of the car (suspention and so on).

But for now the main update is the car has been polished and waxed:
