78 450 sl oil in air filter, why?

I need suggestions as to why my air filter is full of motor oil on my 78 450 sl, Please.

Sounds like blow by, check your vacum lines and hoses and the PVC valve if there is one, it's been a while since I have even seen a 116 engine.
