X-type/S-type cd changer
I have a 02 X-Type. Does anyone know if an 02 S-type cd changer is a plug and play in an x-type?

Re: X-type/S-type cd changer
dont thick so. I have a 2002 x type and the cd cartridge in jammed in it. started looking on E bay for a new one but found out that mine is voice activated with fibre optic cables going into it, so I presume its different to a standard CD changer.
Anyone know where I could get a cheap replacement for mine |

Re: X-type/S-type cd changer
Disk's are old school,put them with your 8-track tapes,Albums,and
cassettes. GO to Best-buy and buy a GPS,so you don't get lost next time. Also pick up a IPOD to carry your playlist. These gadgets are cheaper + better than that old cd player. Pix life without with out Viagra! CD's are Great for the home entertainment, however they canbe very expensive when you add them all up. They really were not designed right for the Auto. At least the cassettes + 8-tracks you have a hard case for protection. Nobody can afford to get lost these days with gas $3.50 a gal. GPS TOMTOM $150 IPOD - $140 I guess the best way to look at it! Go to the JAG dealership and tell them your CD don't work + how much is it going to cost to fix it? CAUTION - Don't leave in car,or they we get stolen. I can use the same system in my DELSO,TC,JAG,and any car rental. Hey! I know it was way befor my time, but didn't they have a system that would play 45's (singles) in the Auto?
