well, im not quite sure what the adapative clip part means which is why im asking if fixing the IAC valve will be helpful

I never heard of an "adapative clip".
Helpful toward what? Stalling? Fuel mileage?

Well my car idles real low when starting and i manually raise the rpm's to warm it up before i drive it.

i got my codes read and thats what it said

iac at adaptive limit probably-----never heard of adaptive clip ive been working on these systems since they were built---probably dirty and it6s adjusted itself all it can to compensate for restricted passages replace iac valve and clean intake manifold at iac and egr while your there
