Driver side electric lock

Got a 1997 4dr blazer the driver side electric lock will unlock but when you hit to lock the lock will try to lock but wont its not binding or stuck. If i give it a little push when i hit the elec lock it will lock. Question is does this sound like a bad lock selenoid? All the other 3 doors work fine.

thanks

Re: Driver side electric lock

probably would hurt to grease the solenoid and the slider.

Does it happen all the time?

yes it does happen all the time like i said when you hit the elec lock to lock it will move a little but will not go all the way to lock. When you hand lock and then use the elec switch to unlock it will unlock just wont lock but i will try the grease but if i have the door panel off i should relplace it what would you do?

Re: Driver side electric lock

I would replace it if greasing it doesn't help.
