YES! Finally...
Quite a long time ago now, the "expert" level of Minesweeper got way too easy for me, so I created a more difficult 20x20 grid that retained the 99 mines the "expert" level has. Took maybe a month of playing at regular, excessive intervals saw that level finally beat. Of course I moved down to 19x19x99 from there, and that took several months of playing at the same intervals to beat. Once I beat that, I moved down to 18x18x99 - that was just over a year ago. I came within 5 mines of beating it several times, and twice I failed to correctly mark the very last mine.
Just now, however, I FINALLY beat it!! Yay!!  Time to move on to 17x17x99....may take a couple years...
