A/C not fully working

Hey i searched and couldn't find an answer so here it goes, on my 92 ls the first two of the four settings on my a/c swithc dont work and i was wondering what th eproblem could be?

no, when i turn the a/c knob to the first two marks no air comes out but on the third and fourth marks it does.

usually there is an a/c button that turns the a/c on and off. then theres a knob that controls the fan speed, or if you will the blower motor speed. and then the knob that controls where you want the air flow. which one of those?

It sounds like the switch is broken. If it is a 3 position switch w/ settings Low, Med and High....and only High works, the resistors in the switch are shorted or burned out. The switch still works on high because high bypasses the resistance in the switch.

alright but the thing i dont get is that when i turn it on the frist two spots the fan and comes on, on the radiator like it knows its on

hey i replaced my switch and tried everything i know possible and nothin worked. Does anyone else have any idea of what it could be? Thanks.

it could be your wiring. possibly a relay. maybe your blower motor is bad. but then again you said it works at other positions..

man i drive those things every day at work. At least they drive better than last years. The tegs still have more personality. the new civics are too dead
