Nissan Maxima Vs 3000gt Stock

Im just wondering what yall thing about a nissan maxima 94 se auto vs a 3000gt stock base model (not sl or vr4) 1996 auto all stock. we are talking about starting at 40mph 3 beeps and flooring it. (cough cough) not street racing on a highway (cough cough)

i think it'd be pretty even. it'll probably come down to the driver, although the 3kgt seems to have an advantage. if it were a 4th gen i'd say the maxima'd win hands down, but only because they're about 300 lbs lighter than the 3rd gens.

well don't the 3rd gen maxima's have like 190 horse...? the 3000's have about 210 at the crank... I guess it all just depends on who'se tranny shifts faster... however you do have a slight weight advantage... just be carefull man, the 3kgt's wear their weight very well

im not so sure myself... i think it really matters on who has the shorter gear ratios for quick accel...well if u wanna call it quick accell, really i think it comes down to reaction time for this.
i hope you understand what i tried to say lol
