Reverse Sensor Disables
I have a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT AWD with reverse sensors. Everytime I put the vehicle in reverse it disables the reverse sensor and has "off" illuminated on the push button. It should be the opposite and turn on automatically after it is shifted into reverse. Why is this happening? Can anybody help?

Re: Reverse Sensor Disables
Your driver's preferance setting is set to the off mode. I'm not sure what the exact procedure for changeing it on your vehicle so you need to look it up in the owners manual. Good luck!

I've checked the manual and there isn't any driver preference related to the reverse sensors. Does anyone else have another idea?
