relay

does anyone know exactly where the fuel pump relay is located on a 1987 jeep cherokee. HHHEEEELLLLPPP!!!!!!!

Look at the engine compartment from the passenger side. There's a row of 4 relays between (but higher than) the ignition coil and the compressor. The fuel pump relay is the second relay from the front.

not sure about an 87, on my 92 it's in a black plastic box right next to the battery

Have u tried lookin underneath it cuz on mine it wasn't a box but a plastic covering and the relay were below it.

Re: relay

My '88s the same as hiduke89s. There is a plastic cover with plastic 2 quarter turn fasteners. Remove the fasteners and the cover. You'll see the 4 relays in line.
