Sound Problem
Ok, here's another prob with my car. I hear the engine rev in the speakers. It sounds like some kind of whistle that's copying the sound of the engine as it revs up, as I shift gears, stuff like that. My uncle, when he had the car, thought it was the ground wire and changed it and everything, but the sound persists. He once had a nice sized AMP in the back, actually it took the whole trunk up, and that's now gone, and the car still has an Equalizer in it. That's getting removed one day, but I can't do stuff like that right now, don't know what the heck I'm doing, and don't have money to replace anything. I'd just like an idea of what the problem is. Thanks a lot, Peace Celica lovers.

Re: Sound Problem
I don't remember what it's called but it removes all of the feedback noise from the sound system you can get them relatively cheap I think

Noise Filter. There are two types. One for the antenna, and one for the power to stereo.
Sounds like you need one that attaches between the power source and the Stereo. Don't get the cheapest one you can find, either. They aren't that much anyway. Go to a stereo shop, or even Radio Shack- although the guys at radio shack know less and less about radios (or anything else) than the name would lead you to believe, so don't bother asking them anything. |

I just took a look at the wires coming from the Stereo and Equalizer in the car. Called up my Uncle and asked him about the ground wire. I know it's a problem with the Equalizer cause I can make the noise quiet or loud with that, and not the volume on the radio ya know.
I was also looking here at their tips. Quote:
I can get pics if necessary, anyone have any ideas?
