Cassie kills a TSX

Wow...so everyone complains about long stories, and when I post a short one, I get shit on...lol.

Sorry that I made a crap post, but I realized right as I was about to type it out, I had like, five minutes to get ready to get my girlfriend from her apartment to take her to Como to meet my 'rents...which in its own went fucking awesome.

Anyways, my buddy over the summer traded in his Ford Land Mamoth eight trillion (F350, Extended cab, diesel motor, all jumped up) and got an Acura TSX. Talk about a size jump.

As some of you know, the past month or so, I've been rollin in the Rav4, but this weekend, the 'rents came up and had the Bimmer, so I finally got Cassie back. Now, up till now, my buddy as been eggin me on to run him in his TSX...but when it finally came time to run, he was like, well, I dunno, I dont wanna risk a ticket. Well, I called him a pussy and threatend to tell everyone he went down on a hermaphrodite (and didnt realise anything was wrong), and he agreed to race. So we decided we'd do three from a roll, one from 45, one from 50, and one from 55. We pull out onto the highway, have a few fly bys on each other, and finally get past KC on the way to Mexico to run.

First run set up, we let some people pass us, and drop down to 50 (we never went from 45). I'm sitting right in the midle of 2nd, and honk us down. Third honk we both punch it, and I have a pretty steady, smooth walk away up to 115, where I shut down about four lengths up. I let off, he flys up and slows, and we slow down to 55. Right now, Im in the top of second, pushing third (I normally shift to third at 50), and I honk us down. THird honk we both punch it, and he hangs with me, me slowly pulling. At 70, his nose was at my rear quarter pannel, and thats when I started pulling. Same game, this time going all the way up to 120 and shutting down about five lengths up.

Third race was from a dig, well, not really a dig but 5 mph hour roll. The highway we were on has cross over points, and becaseu I was in front, I went to make the turn, I slowed down, and crossed over, and went for the outside lane. He stuck the inner lane and punched it right before I did. I punched it, doubled down into 2nd and stopped his pull by the time he was a half length up. I slowly realed him in, passed him at 55, and was pulling on him up to 90. I shut down at 100 with him about a half length back, me slowing so I didnt rear end a bus.

Last run was from 60, so im in the middle fo third. He honks us donw this time, and I punch it right as he does (he went for it right before the third honk). We run doors till 75, then I start pullin on him, and hit hte flashers at 120...however, I didnt shut down. In order to drive the point home, I took it all the way up to 145, where I shut down, and then pulled off the highway, and headed back with him following me, me going like, tne under the entire way just to piss him off.

Over all, very proud of Cassie, considering I havent been able to run her or anything for about a month now.

Cliff notes: see other thread.

Re: Cassie kills a TSX

Good kill. The Tsx, was it auto or manual? It has a 2.4L 200 hp engine, right?
