Which Transmission??

Can anyone tell me from what other years I can replace a 95 Wrangler transmission. Mine went out and can't find a used one of that year.

Check out www.car-parts.com. They should post the interchange list and tell you whats available in your area. But you probably have either the AX-5 or AX-15. I believe anything 94 or newer will fit. You can get the older models but you would have to change the bellhousing because the earlier models used an internal slave cylinder. Hope this helps.

in 1995 the 4.0l six cly had the ax-15 transmission. the 2.5l four cyl had the ax-5 transmission. The ax-15 and ax-5 are not interchangable. The t-case will not bolt up.
