Dash Lights

Hi. I'm new to this site & I hope somebody can help me. I have a 1996 Grand Prix SE 3.1. When I turn the headlight switch on the dash lights do not come on, and and other dash lights go out. Replaced headlight switch, dash lights worked O.K. for few minutes, problem back. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
TerrblT

Re: Dash Lights

Welcome to the forum!

Pull the instrument panel and check the connections to the panel itself. The lights are integrated into the circuit board and if you have a bad board you may need to replace it. The other possibility is simply a loose connection or broken wire that can be easily fixed. Also check all the connections from the headlight switch to the dash lights.
