Academy BMW 635
Got this via ebay a couple of months ago just to see what the quality was like, for the price its not bad, it has basic engine detail of a close quality to the tamiya version and overall the fit and finish not to bad. It has a motor in the kit which means the underside is a bit basic. I think somewhere in its history Academy borrowed someones moulds as the exhaust is routed to miss the on off switch but the small cut out in the lower rear pan is in the original correct position, so I had to re jig the exhaust to fit.The box artwork is also lifted from the tamiya version as its the same car even down to the no plate.I replaced the rims and rotors for fujimi ones as the kit rims looked a little toyish.Had to change the stripe as black is the only option you get. Overall not bad for the price.
