Selling Parts? Need parts?

I just thought of how cool it would be if we had a thread where we all could let each other know if we have any parts for sale or if we are searching for a specific part. Lets face it, parts arent exactly easy to come by for our cars, and our fellow 3/S owners are probably the best place to turn.

I am currenty selling an active aero control computer and active exhaust control box.

I am looking to buy a front active air dam. Anyone have one for sale or know where i could buy one?

www.3si.org has a parts for sale parts needed section to their forum. I've always thought that has been sufficient, as well as the one member who parts out cars on his website (name and site escape my mind right now). But if there is more support for such a thing, Yogs, Young and I could talk and do something.

I think we should have one too tha is a good idea. 3si dosn't let me create an account it says something about the mederaters declining my email. So 3si does me no good.

Yup. Has to be a mail thats provided by IP or something.

I'm not opposed to doing it. We'll have to do some checking around and be able justify why we need it as opposed to using the "for sale" section of AF that we already have.

It would be great to have a parts section. i love this website and come everday so it would eventually benefit me.

the nice thing about 3si is they have trader ratings for those who are paying members, the not so good thing is, depending on who you talk to, the opperation of 3si has gotten a little too tyranical for some to deal with.

There are trader ratings for all members of 3si. You dont have to be a paid member. The people who say 3si has gotten tyrannical are those that have broken the rules and gotten suspended. Most of them who say its tyranical havent even been around 1 year to know how much better off it is now.

Just get a non-hotmail/yahoo email account and you will be fine. I have spymac for my email and that works fine. Free web-based e-mail too.
