how many digits on the odometer....

the 97 breeze i just bought has 50k on the odometer. Carfax says its been flipped and is 150k...i thought digital odometers were 6 didgits not five...can anyone help me out?

digital guages do have 6 digits because they are required to go into the 100,000's by government regulations

Something smells fishy to me. I have a 1996 Breeze and it displays 151,000 on the display.
