2000Blazer Won't Crank
I've got a 200 S-10 Chevy Blazer. I"M not getting any power to the ignition switch.Sometimesit will work fine .Cranks right up.When it wont't work the dash lights won't even come on.Could it be the park netural switch bad?The actual ignition switch works fine when you get power to it.

If the Neutral safety switch were the problem, you should still have dash lights. Your symtoms sound like a bad ignition switch/harness, but I only know of this being the problem on '97s. |

Yip, clean and recheck your battery connections.

Re: 2000Blazer Won't Crank
You have to check all the connections and cables.
The cable is said to sometime break off inside near the battery connection.

Re: 2000Blazer Won't Crank
See my 2 threads on Positive Battery Harness. Like BlazerLT says, check the entire cable/harness. My positive cable corroded through and broke off inside the plastic sheath that covers the terminal.
