I seriously doubt he has a $4000 alarm, and if he does he got ripped off. If someone really wants in your car, they will get in regardless if you have an alarm or not. No matter how much the alarm costs.

Re: Alarm

I second that. I thought paying $500 for my current remote start, keyless entry, alarm, was a lil pricey but very well worth the money. Its the Viper 771VX!

Does it have a paging feature? If you know what I'm talking about.

Re: Alarm

It's not the one with the LCD remote. It has a 2 way remote. Which means, if my alarm is going off and i'm within reach of the remote depending on the conditions of the area. My remote will beep at me.

I want one with the LCD remote. But I guess I could settle for a 2way that beeps. What's the range on your alarm?

I am not 100% sure on this, but up to ¼ mile.

Re: Alarm

No prob....bob? Hah, just kidding. Ya i'm kicking myself in the head because I didn't get the 791XV, because now I totally want the LCD. That is pretty much the only difference between the two. The LCD remote looks cooler.
