Anybody know what this is worth, wrecked 02 RSX

Hi, I have a 2002 Acura RSX type S totaled hit hard in the left nose. I am not sure if I should part it out or sell it whole. It has much damage but motor (i - vtec DOHC) with only about 30k on it... is still good, the 6 speed trans did get damage as the CV axle broke lose and hit the trans as it swong around 1 last time before stopping and punched a hole in the outer case... repairable and 6 speeds are hard to find, Leather seats, 6 CD changer, both doors, right fender, quarters, hatch, tall wing, three 16 inch 5 lug rims, rear disc brakes setup ... I know there are tons more little parts but I am looking for some idea what a motor like this sells for and what is sought after on this model..

At this time, I am not looking to sell anything so please don't ask, just looking for some prices from you guys that know your stuff... I was offered $800.oo for it but I think it's worth more than that but I can be wrong...that's why I am asking... any feedback would be helpful... [email protected]

All I can tell you is that the K20A2 ALONE (if it is undamaged) is worth around $3,000 or more. So selling the car for $800 would be absolutely insane. That motor is in high demand and would most likely be snapped up for a base RSX conversion or Civic Si swap. For the latter the buyer probably wouldn't need the damaged transmission anyway. Sorry about the accident- that's a rough one. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

800 is a complete rip off,

engine, maybe 3-4,000
taillights - maybe 200
wing - maybe 150
rear bumper - maybe 300
interior - thousands (there are people who want to swap their tan exteriors to black and the Momo designed seats are also worth a decent amount)
mirrors - not sure
2 rims - 150

Those are low-end prices i'm quoting by the way, so you should be able to get more than that.

Sorry, you just brought tears to my eyes......not because of the wrecked car (though that is sad too) but because you mentioned northern NJ! Northwestern? Or northeastern?

Don't worry too much, I think you should be able to sell those parts in the Winter too.......unless you are worried about storing the car and being able to pull parts from it..

dam, that sucks man, sorry bout the crash.
but i hate those fat ass cows who sit on the fone anddrive an ant even keep the car in lane, simple solution, roll down the window, let of the wheel(do it if your allignment is good,which im sure yalls is) and justwave and make faces, she will drop the phone, proven fact, and use your knee to moce closer to her, ahaha its so funny to see her grab the wheel anbd slam the breaks
