Auto v.s. 6 spd
i'm just curious which performs better on the track..A4 or M6
for ex.. 2 stock 98 trans am ls1...which car would finish first saying the guy driving the stick doesnt mess up... and the diffrence between the et times and also how much would a stall converter affect an A4 if you have any other info to give me upon this subjectit would help a lot thanks |

Manual is better in pretty much everything anyway you look at it...

If my car was a drag only car....it would be an automatic. Stock for stock, the auto car is just a little slower. Add a stall converter, and that same auto is the shit at the track. Auto won't miss a shift, allows you to launch consistent, and run consistent. Manual allows you to guess your launch point, is much harder on the rear end, and there is always mis-shifts. I know damn near everyone I know has pulled the 3-2 instead of the 3-4. Bent pushrods doing that myself. I got lucky that was all I did.
