HVAC problem - Help
I have a 99 trailblazer with a v6 vortec and the Automatic Temp control option. The blower stopped working. We replaced the blower motor assebly and still nothing. Next we figured the resistor. There are 3 wires Purple, Black and brown (gnd). The Purple seems to be always hot. The black reads millivolts only. This is true on both sides of the resistor in any setting combination. We unplugged the connector going into the resistor and checked voltage at various settings and get the same readings.
Any ideas/suggestions?? |

Re: HVAC problem - Help
Blazer, not Trailblazer. Sorry, can't help beyond clarifying the vehicle.

Re: HVAC problem - Help
Yea, your TrailBlazer is a s-10 body style Blazer, not the new 02-06 TrailBlazer which is a completely different vehicle altogether. They only share the name, nothing else.
You would definately have some luck in the Blazer section. Everyone here is helpful, so you will get an answer!
