90 Civic HF ZC SWAP 1.6 SOHC 4spd Tranny
I would like to know why my car lags on 2nd gear and little on 3 gear after the swap. I'm using the stock ECU, The Motor is a 1.6 SOHC. There is a bronze colored canister-like piece that sits on the back of the valve cover and the hatch has no connections to it, so I shut all inlet openeings into the canister. Civic EX motors have this piece on their motor. I'm wondering if the lag has anything to do with this bronze canister-like pice that sits on the back of the valve cover in front of the intake pipe.
