need help!!!!!! jeep screwed!!!

alright so my idler pulley broke.... i bought a new one, and the threads that it screws into are gone! what should i do??? i cant drive to work without that!

If the treads are stripped out, you'll either need a new bracket or install a thread insert where the old threads were so the original bolt will still fit. I don't think that an oversize bolt will work here.

The thread insert will require special tools to install. They come in a kit you can buy with a supply of inserts that will do the fix for an entire Jeep club.

You could also take it to a shop and get them to put the insert in for you.....
