Steering Column
I'm having trouble starting my 68 Ford Falcon. It's 200 CID automatic. The trouble is that I have to pull up on the transmission handle to engage the starter.
What can I do the prevent this extra step?

steering column
you may have to pull out the column out and check the wiring the linkage and maybe the neural safey switch. any one of those could be a problem.
