no start

engine cranks but no start, replace the starter solenoid, no start. spark plugs good, battery good, not sending power to dist cap from solenoid. both parts test w/ volt meter as positive? is that normal for volvos? what the heck. somebody helppppp!!!!

i had the same exact poblem with my car!! it left me straded in a high school parking lot...just where i wanted to be. at school. anyways...
on the drivers side fender...there is an electrical ground for the computer..replace it. it just screws into the fender an a plug goes into it. it should be back and say "bosch" on it. go to the junkyard to pick one up cheap..it wound be your best bet. -steve

Year/model? It might help.
