I have a 93 accord, 2.2, automatic with 160,xxx miles. My problem is that once it warms up at highway speeds it has what feels like a miss. It goes away if I give it more gas or left off the gas completely. It accelerates great with no stubble at all and idles perfectly. It only seems to occur when you are holding speed or lift just a tiny bit. I have replaced the fuel filter, plugs, cap, and rotor. The wires are fairly new (on it when I bought it). The timing belt was replaced around 115,xxx. I have cleaned the egr ports and have went as far as putting a block off plate under the egr to eliminate that possibility all together. I was thinking that it could be the tps but it doesnt do it when its cold. I replaced the pcv valve but maybe that could be the problem if I got a bad one. When I take the oil filler cap off there seems to be alot of crankcase pressure but when I cover it with my hand the pressure doesnt build. This is my first Honda so I wasnt sure it that is normal or not. I just cant seem to put a finger on this miss. If it could be a map sensor then how do I check it? I was hoping that someone could help so that I dont just throw parts at it to see if I can fix it. I have also done the seafoam treatment through the brake booster vacuum line. I have sprayed the intake area down with starting fluid to try and find a vacuum leak...nothing. I know there is someone out there that can help...SUPER thanks in advance.
