96 Controls

I can't speak for everyone with a 96 Taurus with the standard control cluster but, why the hell is the middle selector for ac and vent control busted and I am not able to select anything without the use of a needle nose. What can be done? Replace the whole unit or what?

I had the same problem, but it was just the knob that cracked. Ford has them in stock for like 9 bucks. You just have set it to the off position and install it straight up or it will not fit in the groove.
