1999 expedition speed assist steering problem
Is anyone aware of a problem with the 98-99 ford expedition variable assist steering? At freeway speeds the sensitivity of the steering in our expedition is dangerous, and a small quick movement of the wheel will put you all over the road. It is difficult to drive at freeway speeds, with constant oversteering. I know the assist is stuck in the low-speed mode. I know two others that have the same problems with their's and one had his fixed. I am surprised there hasn't been a recall.
Is anyone else aware of this and do you know where the problem is and how it can be fixed? Dan |
