1/4 mile question.
ok guys here's the thing, i finally sold my 94 coupe EX, and cant decide if buying a 2000 SI or a GSR teg, so wich is faster down the 1/4 mile, any info that helps decide will be great, also wich has a higer top end speed?

The civic runs a 15.7 and a teg will run a 15.2-15.5... these are not exact but are probibly within .3 of being right.... this is off a site called http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html
if conditions are different the times will be different, and also air temp, track conditions, AND MAINLY DRIVER.. if you have a crappy driver in a vette and an amazing driver in a gsr, it might be a close race

GS-R, 10hp and more torque. And the GS-R is only like 75-100lbs heavier, so it wouldn't be by much. I'd also think that the GS-R would have the higher top speed, based on the transmission having longer gearing.
This should be in another forum though, nothing to do with a '92-'95 Civic. |
