Chalk one up....

For the daily driver.

I was just leaving Walgreens. Which I hate, but it was closest to home after I forgot the vaseline at the place I was previous.
Anyways, I got my vaseline.

So I am sitting at a light, and I hear the familiar sound of a bee behind me. Dude floored it to go about 50 feet, then waxed the brakes to make sure he stopped without hitting the car ahead of me.
This Honda EX was classic. Enough wire mesh to hold in all the chicken's at Tyson. Big ass double decker wing, melon launcher, and bright red. Could hear that wonderful little intake buzzing, and then it coming out the rear of the car with a wonderful sounding shit.

Anyways, we both take a left onto a 6 lane section of road. I intentionally go VERY slow waiting for him to catch me. I can't help it, even in the Grand Am, I enjoy picking on ricers.
He gets up next to me, and I nail it to stay even. He can tell I am wanting to play, although he won't look over. Then all the sudden, he slows up a little....I follow suite.

He must have wanted a different gear or something because without much warning (other than the wonderful changing pitch of the fartcannon) he took off. So I nailed it. The automatic took 8 seconds to kick down....and I put 1 car on the guy from 45 to 60.
He never did look over, but I did get the ricer fly-by. Damn that car sounded terrible.

Boring?? Of course. Can you tell I miss my car???

Oh, the vaseline is for the new injectors. Those are going on the FAST intake this afternoon.

Cliffnotes: Couple slowass cars going at it.

What throttlebody are you using on the fast? I think I'm going to use the nx throttle body on the fast intake. Can't wait for that intake/direct port setup I have planned!!!! Are you using the fuel rails as well? What size injectors?

Sorry...nice kill and get your car back running before you run into a ricer that has just enough to beat the grand am, and he goes home claiming victory on a Pontiac. As time goes by....his story of the victory over the grand am will change to that of a victory over a trans am.....all of his buddies will believe it.
