greddy intercooler parts?

ok, i bought this greddy intercooler core from a friend. nothing came with it, just the core. i have the 2 turbohoses greddy pipes, clamps, and couplers. i want to know if i can put the intercooler in my deuce. one thing too, is a manji. shroud necessary, and is that the same as a baffle plate. what are the things i need besides bolts, nuts, and tools. where can i get them?

Re: greddy intercooler parts?

you usually use a core to build an intercooler... not as a bolt on thing. you could always build an air to water

Re: greddy intercooler parts?

The GReddy IC is a KIT.

You should have gotten four intercooler pipes (2 before the IC and 2 after), the metal surround template that frames out the inner vent, 6 silicone couplersand 12 clamps.

Re: greddy intercooler parts?

The surround and the shroud are not the same thing. The surround is part of the GReddy kit. The shroud you are talking about is made by Manj.

You can see what you should have gotten here:
http://www.theshulers.com/mr2/images/greddy_ic_1.jpg

The surround goes between the IC and the quarter panel. The shroud mounts on the IC on the engine-bay side.

Re: greddy intercooler parts?

If you go to turbohoses.com, they sell a pipe kit for the GReddy IC for the MR2. I am not sure if they sell the surround.

Tell them JekylandHyde sent you.
