97 Winstar speed sensor location

I am replacing a speed sensor in a 97 winstar and I am having trouble locating it. Help

You'd do best if you have the new one in hand ... that way you can better recognize the old one.

On my model, its located kinda on the bottom-rear of the tranny ... near the RH drive shaft ... (I THINK!).

The speed sensor is tough to get at! It's on top of the transaxel by the right hand drive axel where it comes out of the transaxle. I couldn't get mine out without removing the exhaust manafold on the back of the engine. Why do you need to replace the Speedsensor?
