Trunk lock blows fuse

My 2003 SL-2 3 door coope blows the fuse when I use the remote trunk release. I started looking for a short and when I removed the light bulb in the trunk the doors locked? I moved the wires around under the back window, I cant find a short. I hasn't blown the fuse since i moved the wires. any sugestion on where to look for a short.

Computers controll more and more functions of an automobile. On my last visit to my friends garage he had just replaced a computer in a chrysler minivan because the windsheild wipers wouldn't work. The switch when turned on sends a signal to the computer which in turn powers up the relay for the wipers to start.
It is possible that the computer read the trunk light going out (removed) as the trunk being closed and then locking everything. This is just a guess on my part as my 96 is not the same. I'm sure someone will be more knowledeable on your year and model.
If the trunk release continues to work it would be reasonable to asssume that by moving the wires the contact causing the short has been eliminated. Check that bundle of wires closely for any rub points.
